Il 22 settembre esce
Pieces, retrospettiva dei Manassas, band formata da Stephen Stills nel 1971 insieme, tra gli altri, a Chris Hillman (ex Byrds e Flying Burrito Bros.) e Dallas Taylor (precedente batterista di CSN&Y). La formazion ebbe vita molto breve, si sciolse infatti nell'ottobre 1973 dopo aver prodotto due album (che oggi sono solitamente nominati nella discografia solista di Stills).
Da quelle vecchie sessions Stills ha estrapolato un "nuovo" disco di 15 canzoni inedite,
Pieces appunto, pubblicato per la Rhino.
